“Guys, as you know, this virtual video meet is for planning Amma’s 75th birthday and I want some good, fresh, out of the box ideas for a gift, especially from her beloved grandchildren, that would perk up her eyes not just on her special day but every day”, said Charu addressing the virtual union of her siblings and their children who were all scattered across the globe.

“Let’s keep in mind her love for pampering us with the delectable recipes that she prepares with fondness while keeping in mind likes and dislikes of each one of us distinctively as well as her penchant for being punctual in every aspect of life”, added Shardul, Charu’s nephew and the eldest grandson of Amma.

“How about, a timeless gift, a wall of clocks, each clock with a face of some kitchen gadget, pot or pan, tuned to the different time zones corresponding to each one of us to remind her that our world still revolves around her and her food?”, suggested Raghavendra, the youngest son of Amma and needless to say it was met with a big thumbs up!
