“Now where on Earth might she be”, wondered he, as he could not find her by his side.
“She never lets me be in peace”, he murmured. With much reluctance he sneaked out of the Gol Gumbaz.
As expected, there she was, near the Mango tree. He went over and stood besides her. Tapping on her shoulders, he tried to catch her attention.
“Somnambulist Bibi, wake up”, he tried to be as gentle as he could.
She brushed his hand. Another tapping also did not yield any result. But this time, she muttered in a low tone, “Miya, can’t you see, I am wide awake. I am checking out something”
“Not again”, he replied with a peevish tone.
Pat came the answer from her, “Why not?” With that, she went closer to the lady wearing a bright yellow saree. Maintaining the safe distance and not making it obvious, she strolled around the lady.
“Be in your incorporeal limits, Bibi”, he reprimanded.
Miya, don’t disturb. Look at the matching neck piece she has. It is studded with the dazzling sapphire at the centre. The rubies around it will bring a shame to your Shah”, came an indulgent reply from her.
“Do you really need these fancy pieces anymore?”, he asked with much sarcasm. “Did you not have enough in your life time?”, he continued.
“Fashions trends are changing every day, Miya. all I had was antic and I fancy it no more”, she answered with grudge.
All this while, she had drifted towards the lawn. A young girl with a long brown skirt and a short cream top had caught her fancy.
“Miya, see that…Those shiny long danglers she has in her ears. I wish I had something like that. I would pair it up with my green sharara”, she said longingly.
“Not enough for your greed, Bibi”, he replied.
With this remark, she turned red. She was about to give him a good talk.  “You have scared me enough in my mortal life. Not any more!”, he said in a cheeky tone. With a hearty laugh, he returned back to Gol Gumbaz. Huffing and puffing she followed him…
…For Miya and Bibi were revenant couple from the Adil Shah’s era.

Appreciate your eye for details too. You are right, that my sight appears different. From the start of the year, I have moved to a self hosted blog; hence the new look and feel.
