Asimo
stood at the cross roads and was frustrated to see the vehicles on the zebra crossing.
He couldn’t cross the road, out of safety concerns.
“Its
so blazing hot here! Add to it layering myself, from top to bottom. This
round hat comes in the way of my vision. These loose clothes make me stumble
and then I cut a sorry figure of myself.  I am ok, as I am!”
“Once
back home, will convey my displeasure to Divya. But for now, on to my task at
hand. Dropped clothes at laundry. Bought fresh loaf of bread.”
“Let
me reach out to mobile. Divya has instructed to check mobile before returning
home. Oh, oh… two missed calls. She is so impatient. I will be back home straight,
why she has to have doubt?”, noted Asimo.

Back
at home, Divya was nervous as Asimo was not back yet. She was not sure about
programming of Asimo. Asimo was just a robot, with AI, that she was programming to
perform human tasks.

Great! There seems to be story behind the disguise.

Ya, you are right Reena, I am already thinking of the plot to take the story further. Thanks for visiting.

Nice reveal at the end. no wonder the poor robot doesn't know what to make of the ad human world!

I am so sure, inspite of being wordly wise, the Robots never will be able to decipher the weird folks… that is us!

Most cool! Developing AI for robots would go something like this I think. Eventually the robot would go off alone and the creator would have to wonder and worry just like a parent. Cool story!

I get that "Asimo" references "Isaac Asimov" who originally crafted the famous "Three Laws of Robotics" and was a prolific science fiction and mystery writer, but what about "Divya?

    canvaswithrainbow · October 26, 2017 at 4:53 pm

Divya is my creation! She lives only in this tale! Diya actually means visionary, sublime and divine!

Priceless Joy · October 27, 2017 at 2:09 pm

LOL! That was a surprise twist at the end! Haha! He's a robot! Great story!
