“What’s for dessert?”, quizzed Mr Balanced.

Three sets of eyes, darted towards Mrs ChitterChatter and she undeniably loved attention!

“Surprise!”, she replied getting up from seat.

“What can that be?”, questioned InncoentBaby lustily.

Mrs ICareForAll had paid us visit two days back. She gifted two bars of exotic chocolate”, beamed Mrs Chitterchatter as she opened the fridge.

Few minutes of her frantic search led to discovery of their disappearance.

She walked towards the table visibly chafed which prompted Mr Balanced to predict, “Stormy weather ahead”

“Who ate the chocolates?”, struck a lightning.

“I always ask before taking”, stated GaintLittleKid.

“Returned from tour this morning”, clarified Mr Balanced.

“I am on no sugar diet”, grudged InnocentBaby.

Even if wolf don’s sheep’s clothing, it still remains a wolf”, stated GiantLittleKid sternly, darting his glance towards InnocentBaby. “I know how someone gorges on chocolates in school bus when friends distribute them on birthdays”, he added.

“You’ve no leg to stand on. Who hovers in kitchen under the guise of study break?”, retorted InnocentBaby.

“How about one who had not proved innocence”, opined Mr Balanced beguilingly.

All eyes darted towards Mrs ChitterChatter. She definitely was not loving the attention this time.

Hahaha… this is super cute. I loved this family’s comeback. Mrs. ChitterChatter is in for some interrogation. Still smiling! Thanks for writing in. 🙂

Hahahahah! So, was this a solo effort by Mrs ChitterChatter or was InnocentBaby hand in glove?
Loved this take on the prompt, Anagha! And good to see Mrs ChitterChatter back on your blog!

Ah Mrs Chitterchatter! She ate the chocolates and tried to pass the buck! Not counting not preparing dessert.
