Joyce Kilmer thought that every tree is a poem* penned by Almighty. Other day a thought, on similar lines, occurred to me while walking down a lane in the neighbourhood.

“Every tree has a story”

These stories are out in open for the ones who wish to read. Probably it holds as many stories as the leaves it has. Have you heard them rustle those to you?

“All Bats Colony” is what I wish to title the story of this tree. The stories that hang upside down here have an eerie air.

All Bats Colony

“The Watchman”, could well be the title for this one. Watching the man made and God made birds must be the hobby of this tree while keeping a watchful eye, standing tall above the rest! Wonder if it has ‘tall tales’?

The title, “Murder** – The Dark Drama” would justify this tree. I get to watch the drama everyday, from a vantage point, for this is the view from my kitchen and where the main characters are none other but the crows!

How about the collection of happy ending, pulpy stories laced with the sweet-smelling charm of this mango tree be christened “Happy Days Are Here Again”? This picture was shared by my aunt, from her backyard. Now-a-day mango tree is draped in the cheery blooming blossom. Many of my childhood memories and yes, a lot of naughty ones, linger under the shade of this tree.

Do you have leafy green, woody brown, swishing or whispering stories of the trees to share? I am sure you do. Why wait then? I would love to read them too…
