“Zooming in?”, she murmured.

“Sshhh”, he reprimanded.

“We wont be heard on the other side, isn’t it?”

“Of course not. But your incessant blabber is not letting me concentrate.”

“Such a careless man. He doesn’t even file his nails after cutting them”, she observed.

He turned to her with a raised eyebrow and gave her a stare.

“I am sealing my mouth”

“Look at that…”, she screamed even before he could turn to the screen.

“He’s writing a secret love letter”, she said sobbing. “I told you, he is seeing someone else now a day.”

“Will you hold onto your horses? Check what he has written.”

“Lost without you.”

He zoomed the camera out. They saw the man sticking yellow note on a wardrobe.

“That’s my wardrobe”, she screamed.

They continued to watch the man. He was now seen relaxing on rocking chair with a book in his hands.

Ashamed, she got up and headed straight home from the Spy’s office.

“Dont forget to pay my fees”, fell on deaf ears.

Trust is everything and once the ‘keeda’ of suspicion enters the mind, nothing else destroys peace, isnt it?
Once again a lovely take on the prompt,Ana 🙂

    Anagha Yatin · March 9, 2018 at 11:16 am

So true Meenu. The worm of suspicion is enough to eat up the sensibilities of the person. Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts.
