It was a long way up! His reassuring grip on her wrist was all that she needed.
The naughty strands of hair occasionally fluttered across her face. This site made him want to stare at her rather than climbing up. Upon sensing the pause in the gait, she would smile. Blushed cheeks would leave the wild flowers way behind in race of enchanting him!
Once on the top, negotiating the stony ridges they nestled up.
“Like your eyes the lake is blue green and crystal clear.”
“And, the mountains?”, she gestured at him, resting her head on to his shoulders.
“Rugged, rough like me”, he responded.
Together is the wonderful place to be”, she whispered, making a big heart in air with her hands.
The wind took a pause, the sky leaned, the mountains peeked at the charming couple with awe…
For she was blind and he was deaf!
